Everybody on the Same PageArchitectural & Design Teams We Work With:
This is the key to a successful Construction Project. By mastering budget & schedule reporting and organizing such tasks as the Request for Information (RFI) process, Sherlock Homes is able to keep the client (home owner & design team alike) on the same page and aware of all events and required information. We believe in fostering team spirit on a project. A team that works well together can accomplish anything. We encourage teamwork from the owner, the architect and the builder. Disputes are avoided through documentation and transparency. Benefits for Home Owners & ArchitectsAt Sherlock Homes, we focus on delivering the architect's vision, while maintaining the home owner's budget and construction schedule. Sherlock Homes’ management objective is to provide a successful construction project so that the client is satisfied. A satisfied client generates future projects for the design team as well as the builder. We encourage direct interaction between our architects, home owners and subcontractors once a subcontract has been finalized. This builds relationships, encourages innovative solutions and offers state-of-the-art insight into the project. It also sets the home owner and subcontractor up for successful service once a builds warranty expires. |
Down to the PennySherlock Homes prides itself on it organized approach to your project. Our accounting system offers complete transparency and 100% accountability for each expense on a project. The general manger regularly reviews the budget with the project managers and controller. Our reports offer the client (architect & home owner) up to the minute accuracy regarding the budget and schedule. We also offer online project management, which gives clients anytime access to all of the information that makes up their project (photos, purchase orders, change orders, draw request reviews, bid selections, etc). Budgets You Can Count OnSherlock Homes can customize a budget for its clients and then work with the Architect and Designer to maintain the budget. Some projects require a Cost Plus approach to the budget because all specs and finishes are not determined at the time of hiring the Contractor. We always advise the design team of a categorical budget at the time of specification. Clients also benefit greatly from our Cost Plus process. We offer competitive pricing by inviting three subcontractors and vendors - whom we've worked with previously - to bid on each category of the project. Our system ensures ‘apples-to-apples’ comparative bids from the subcontractors and vendors. We achieve this by implementing such procedures as a comprehensive Scope of Work analysis and bid invitation that reflects this Scope. This process also ensures transparency when it comes to additions to the scope of work and billing. Our client base comes from all parts of the country and even the world, therefore they are used to different levels of service. For this reason, we make every effort to be flexible to their needs. We want our clients to be comfortable with the way their construction project is structured and executed. Therefore, we structure each project to meet the individual needs of the client. |
